The CanadianClassicCars.ca Tour from Kalamazoo, Michigan (NSRA North Nationals Plus) to Burlington, Vermont (NSRA Northeast Nationals Plus) via way of Ontario, Canada took place last fall in late September and was shown in the May, 2011 issue of Street Rodder magazine. One week and 1200 miles separate the 2 events. Canadian Classic Cars sponsored the run across Ontario, Canada.
Things started on a Friday in Kalamazoo and rolled off Sunday to Saginaw, Michigan at Shadow Roads, then into Canada Sunday evening through border at Port Huron for night in Sarnia.
Monday morning off to London, Ontario to see car collection of Steve Plunkett. (Next June, 2011 the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in Road Tour will travel from the NSRA Mid-America Nationals in Springfield, Missouri to the event at Fleetwood Farms with the Beach Boys as featured entertainment.
From London it on to Motor City Car Club in Oshawa, then to the Officer's Dining Room in the Armory for dinner then to hotel for night. Tuesday morning was a visit to the Canadian Automotive Museum in downtown Oshawa. Then after 11 a.m. it was off to Ottawa for a tour by Larry Way, PR guy for Parliament in Canada, 5 p.m. was at Hazeldean Mall in Ottawa. Wednesday morning was Canada Science and Technology Museum. Evening was in Rockland at Larry Way's home to see his collection, then drove to Canadian Classic Cars and a cruise. Then Thursday morning it off to Burlington via Cornwall.

Gary, very interesting article. I didn't know about that run & live just N. of Oshawa. One error, that wasn't "across Canada" but only a part of Ontario!!!! Coast to Coast is way longer,you;s need a week of hard driving. Likely a "Typo" but just thought I'd bring that up,hope you enjoyed the trip????

In the first sentence I said "from Kalamazoo..to Burlington...via way of Ontario, Canada."
So, I thought it was understood about the Ontario part, being that I described it that way in my trip summary.
Anyway, I hope ydu enjoyed the reading. Oops, I do have a typo now and then, I admit to that, lol.

Just picked upthe special Street Rodder Magazine where they built the T-speedster. They supposedly drove it on this tour. Too late in hearing about it as well!

Sorry Brent you missed that one to Ottawa to the Hazeldean Mall was in 2010.
You can however, catch the 2011 one at Fleetwood Farms in London.
