Beautiful car but what qualifies it as a COPO?

Am I missing something? Is there something about it that's not RPO?

..........Be careful with these guys.........they had a '57 Chev 210 post for sale some time back for big $$$$$ and claimed it was
a Factory Orig Survivor.....
Wrong interior for one thing....when I sent him a pic of an Orig Surv 210 interior ( as it came from the Factory) I never did hear back!
It is unbelievable how these Dealers get away with their advertising.......I guess some buyers jump right in blindly without asking
guys who know specific cars inside out! Some just have to find out the "hard way"

There's no documented SS427 with hideaway headlights according to those on the ImpalaSS427 forum.

I don't know later cowl tags all that well. Is there something on this one indicating special paint?

we usually associate COPO cars with performance engines... but model GM colour choices or even fleet vehicles would be ordered with COPO paperwork... this sure is a nice car though!!

Yeah the quarters must be aftermarket, they don't have the proper bulge. Dave, is that the proper exit location for the tailpipes that you were talking about in that other post?

Nice car but not $55G nice hmm

Some of the experts on the ss427 web site are not impressed by this car, and think it's way overpriced. Quarters are one issue.

very close to where the L72 tailpipes would exit barry. wagons were the same exit regardless of which engine.
