66 Grande inner fender brace for grande jim

Hi jim here is the one I have off at the moment.  I'd have to check my other parts cars for anything better but they are buried in snow right now.  The would take a bit of work at the bottom but not that much.

Yeah theres quite a bit to work with.

Do you want me to disengage it from the rest of the fender and just send the brace itself?

It will be easy to ship that way.

Cost to you will be cost of shipping, OK?

Hey Jim, are you just going to use it as a template to fab up one out of fresh metal? Looks like something you could make.

Yeah the parts that are there are fairly sold and may be usable.  What's missing would be easy enough to patch in I think if that the route he wants to go.

Oddly enough the fender is actually from a  66 grande parisenne so the pedigree is impeccable  even if the material is a bit rough.

By the way thanks Carl

I need the entire inner bracket top to bottom on the fender...I don't think I could make that...If it was just the bottom part I think I could do it ...but not the whole thing. I'm ok with fabricating but not really good at it.

If you are not planning on saving the fender you can just cut it off an inch or so from the inner brace and I can deal with separating the pieces...If thats easier for you!!

I will try not to wreck it but it is one of quite a few I have so if things don't go well it won't be the end of the world.

At last I found the time to get it off!  Here are some pics.  Let me know if it will work.  The part you will need to build should be fairly easy and the existng inner reinforcement piece that is loose right now show you  how it has to look.
