Selling my 283

Any one need a great running 283...Drove it home from the Interior of B.C. to Vancouver Island, trips all over the Island last summer...just not enough power for me (195 HP)...so it's coming out this week to be replaced with a Vortec...I'm selling the 283 for  $300.00. I believe it is the factory motor from my 1966 Grande and the car has about 75,000 original miles on it.

If it's the factory engine shouldn't you be keeping it just to say you have it. Appraisers
like that you still have the original engine.

I could store it for you in the 52 Torpedo back & give it some "excercise" for a yr. or two. All you have to do is ship it "PREPAID" to my house

Jim, if you are thinking of shipping it to Pete on Gotohellinback Drive ... go the extra distance and ship it to Tinysandbarofnoreturn Lane, care of me, I'll take care of it.

Seriously, the old saying "I wish it was closer". cry

Well I really don't want to make you feel bad about being closer...But if a CP member needed it for there car...It would probably go alot cheaper... a little to me and donation to site maybe?
