I have a 65 SD rag that hasn't been on the road since 1978. It's more sad that the car hasn't been driven. The HT one sounds interesting for sure but it's probably cold feet about selling it.

I'm planning on meeting the guy on Tuesday next week, as I'm taking a trip home to pack up my house for the movers on thursday. I can let you know.. as i dont need anymore items..
He has 2 custom 2dr hard tops. one is red on red with 283 2 spd and says it's one of 550 something (memory could be more.. less). and 28 years worth of parts he's collected over the years.
he's got some real nice "sounding" options as well.. it's a package deal.. all or nothing.. so.. If it's worth the time to anyone.. I'll scope it out anyways and keep everyone posted.. IF it's still there when I get home.

Divorce in his present situation and is liquidating.. Crappy way to lose your babies.

That sounds like a old member of ours. One should be teal and the other is red or burgandy I think? How much is he asking? The only thing I want is 65 SD rocker chrome so you know where I am. If there is something really nice for me give me a PM Kelly.

I was sent a message that a guy in Calgary had a black 65 SD Beaumont 4 Speed for sale. He had already sold it when I contacted him.

how long ago was that? Mine was black before it was stripped down and painted with a primer..

back to the factory blue now.

well.. I finally heard back from him..
He is giving the 2 cars (yep 2 two door hardtops) to his best friend.. with the 28 years for parts and literature he's been collecting.
He's getting a divorce and has to "liquidate".. I told him I was really glad he still gets to be a part of the cars and watch the best friends 2 sons enjoy them.

I really wanted to see what he had.. but... Mystery is good.. LOL
