Karbelt Speed shop called that the trans. arrived. Went & picked it up> Only thing I can see thats a "bit" of a problem is that theres no speedo drive adapter in trans,just a rubber plug where its supposed to be,will call them tomorrow to see whats need there. It's also set up for "electronic" speedo as well

The speedo will be no problem. If I remember right it actually uses a Ford gear but they can supply with a gear that will work with your GM speedo cable. To get the right gear they will probably want to know the rear axle gear ratio and the tire diameter. Anyway, it won't be a problem, the tranny is set up to work with a cable style speedometer.

Test fitted the bell hsg. & checked out the speedo hole,called Karbelt & Cory was upset that they told him it had a 10 spline input but is the 26 spline & they told him trans came ready for cable speedo & does not!!! He's calling supplier on Mon. May cost another $100 for adapter!!!! Think this might be the 1st. he's sold????
