Our new toy (Our midlife crisis!)

Way back in 1994, my wife and I went to the POCI convention. GM had a 25th Anniversary T/A convert in their tent. I have video of my wife standing there in 95 degree heat, 7 months pregnant, drooling over the car. We have talked about buying one ever since. I've watched and watched but never could find one that we felt we could afford. If you don't know what the 25th cars look like, they are all the same, triple white with a blue stripe down middle, similar to the 70-72 T/A.

I've been busting at the seams the last two weeks because we bought the next best thing to it. It just came home. 97 WS6 Ram Air T/A convert, LT1 automatic with some sort of brutally loud SLP exhaust!

RE: Our new toy!

Here's how it looked an hour ago. I hated the hood flames, and wasn't too keen on the red inserts on the door emblems. I think the WS6 fender decals are next.

Hey that sure has a nice clean look to it. That is some of the best fore play that you will have come up with for a long time. Now just keep that car dry for the next couple months.

Oh yeah, I guess I could do that!!!

It's in the garage now. We've seen the odd mouse running around out there now that we're starting to melt, so I won't leave it outside unguarded.

It acutally has some kind of a cutout on it already. I think it's 3" front to back too. Sure is big loud exhaust. My wife thinks when I drive it I'll have to undo a few more buttons on my shirt and wear a whole bunch of gold chains around my neck, major midlife she figures!

Sweet car, I really like the white look on this model. The 25th anniversary model had 1 blue stripe from front to rear and the 1999 30th anniversary model had two stripes. Every anniversary model Trans Am has be white and blue striped since time began (starting with the 69 model).........have fun it looks like a great car in super condition.

At least you got the Fleetwood for family responsibilities....the Firebird looks very nice, I suspect your wife will be the primary driver, my wife's first car was a white on white Firebird. She let me drive a couple of times.
