Thanks.

Yeah, me too. After I posted those two pics, I studied them and decided that's how it has to be done.

Nice car!

Now all you need is some warm weather so you can go cruising with the top down.

That's very nice looking Bird.  And a rag top to boot!

I expect to see a lot of smiles with the top down this summer.

Good purchase! Nice car!! A convertible is a must have, even in our climate, summer is just that much more enjoyable!!!... and my vote is second stripe... It took me a second to figure out the first one had the stop and start at the scoops...didn't like that...

I'm not sure if you were there when I mentioned at our coffee break a couple of weeks ago that I had a little secret you guys would learn about in the future, but this is what I was referring to. I had just left the seller's place where I'd left a deposit on it before I came to Robin's. I'm looking forward to drop top weather now!

And yes, the second stripe for sure...

Great purchase!  That is a very rare car even if it is not a 25th anniversary T/A.  For a 97 it is one of 482 WS6 convertibles (347 automatics).  1 of 54 WS6 convertibles for Canada (36 automatics).  Only 65 white automatic convertible WS6 TA's were built in 1997. (Another 29 white 6spd rags in 97).

I'd say you found a RARE bird!

Thanks, were did you find all that info?

I have been high and low online and could only find a total.

I should have known you'd have more than that!

Way to go Carl! She'll love it once it's warm enough for the top to be down. And if you are good, she might even let you drive it once in awhile. wink

Nice Car! I'd be happy to see my wife driving that one. I hate the 'crisis' word when its mentioned about cars. I got heavily into cars after 40 yrs old, therefore everyone in my circle thinks I am going through a crisis. No crisis, kids are grown and moving out, now I can afford it, its that simple. They are waiting for me to 'get over it'.......they better get used to it, as a large building is going up soon to house my cars....they can visit me in there whenver they like wink.gif

Glad to see your wife shares your passion. Lucky Man.

Wow...a toy purchase that makes your woman happy too, can it get any better!?
Since it was built here, it's a real Canadian Poncho too so I guess it can!.

I figured too, built in Canada, sold in Canada, and I plan to spin the back tires in Canada so I was hoping to sneak in under the radar!
