where to get reproduction seat covers for 65 acadian invader


sort of new to this site,building a 65 acadian invader,with a heidts front susp,rear 4 link,and a ls2 carbed,looking to finish the interier,where would a good place to go?,dont no if i should go with black or the original greenish blue.

the rims and tires on this car will be for sale,they are 14 inch rally`s,center caps and trim rings,nice shape,and bf goodrich ta`s,like new,you can get back to me at sonny69@mts.net

Glad to see you found us.

I am not familiar with the Invader upholstery. Do you have pictures of the original? It may be the same as a Nova from earlier years.

The pattern in my 65 SD is the same as 64 Nova SS I believe but because the 65 SD bucket has a wider bottom than a 64 Nova SS the cover won't work. Not sure if the bench pattern is the same as Nova though.

 Are you sure it is not the other way around ?

 

I thought and was told that the 65 bucket had a narrower bottom than the 63-64 model due to a larger console that was offered from 65 to 67.

I'm sorry, you caught me, yes!

The 65 has a different shape bottom. The sides on it are straight basically (front to back) as compared to the 64 and down seat that flares out in front of the hinge.

Not my first mistake!!!
