Took my youngest back to school tonight, gased up in TO before leaving, wait for it......$1.429
JR. drove there and we used 7 litres to get there. I drove home on 4. Even Jr commented when we got near Toronto on the fuel consumption. There was less traffic on the way home and I basically had it on cruise at 110 the whole way home, touched the brakes for the first time on the off ramp of the DVP. We listened to the Leaf game on the radio so I was in no rush as I love hearing the game on radio, reminds me of old times as a boy listening to Foster Hewitt.
Paid $360 a gallon on the Indian reserve Niagara Falls NY. Around here I saw $1.26 a litre. Both the Tbird & the Shelby use premium. Can`t wait to fill them up this year. I don`t think I`ll ever put the jet ski`s in the water again at these prices.
Right now it is 119.9... Today I saw the wife and kid of the manager of the Co-op driving their 2 cars to the pumps... Knew something was up. Went in and talked to him, as I badger him often about fuel prices, tomorrow will be 123.9........
Maybe a 454ci swap in the '66 Laurentian wagon this spring may be on the back burner.........
