I had it explained to me that the increase in oil and food prices is directly related to the Americans printing a couple trillion new dollars three years ago. The world trades oil and other stuff in American dollars. Soooo, now we get the results of printing too much money too quickly. When the American dollar finally crashes, all hell is going to break loose. There are about 40 million Americans on food stamps, more on other types of subsidized living. Imagine what happens when the food stamps and welfare cheques stop coming. 40 million hungry people are going to turn ugly. I don't think I want to see how things are going to play out over the next few years. Putting gas in our old cars might be the last thing on our minds. I'm not the paranoid type but the signals aren't very good.
Got gas in Oshawa Ont. yesterday after having the Suburban, serviced & Warr. work done at dealer. 1.28.9 ltr. Heard it went up again today!!!! ^4 has arounf 3/4 of tank of high teat & Stabiizer in it. When she comes out [soon I hope] we'll see how long that lasts. May have to park one this summer,or disconnect one of the 4 bbls, but that will starve the frt. 4 cyls. & it's NO FUN!!!!!

Some times I wake up GRUMPY, but today I let her sleep in !!!!!!!!BLACKSTOCK Ont.
Took my youngest back to school tonight, gased up in TO before leaving, wait for it......$1.429
That works out to $5.41 a US Gallon! TO must be the third world.
$1.129 in Winnipeg works out to $4.24 a US Gallon!
We are all getting hosed badly!
Yesterday on Friday, April 8 the regular gas here in Louisiana was $3.489 U.S. a gallon and today on Saturday, April 9 the regular is $3.559 a gallon at Wal-Mart near my house.
Paid $3.79 a gallon, thats $1.00/ litre with out exchange, in Grand Forks ND on the weekend, 150 miles south of home when it's $1.21 here. Yet there is a gas pipeline that runs from here down into North Dakota, how does that work? There isn't 20 cents a litre difference in taxes. We're just getting screwed.
And another thing, mid grade was only 5 cents a gallon more and here it's 5 cents a liter more??
as long as we elect these idiots it will go on . If at one point on any ballet it said (none of the above) how many would vote that. I think that would make a statement.
1.29 here in PEI. Part of my pay plan at work gives me "points" that I can redeem on merchandise or gift cards. I've been pretty much keeping my car going on $50 Petro Canada gas cards. Since I have to pay tax on the gift cards the price of gas to me works out to about .39 cents/liter. Makes me want to buy something with a big block to drive to work!
