Kelly I know you have another but you need to get this and unload the other one. You couldn't put one together for that price. That is SD for sure and I do not need another! Really, no really!

If that car is half as nice as it looks, that has to be one of the better deals around right now for a folding top.

I remember when I bought my red 65 SD rag for 16500 and I thought I paid too much. I felt sick for weeks but it turned out to be a super buy and the best car I have. It was restored ruffly the same time as this one and it's still going strong. That was at least 10 years ago so this is a deal. I feel like calling him up and offering him 12000 but I need to let this car go to a good home. Somewhere else. Kelly where are you?

Where abouts in Ontario is Dunnville? That looks like pretty good value by the looks of it.

His father is a body man and it was a father son project. I talked to his dad 2 years ago about the car when I was looking for a rag top. Black is not the original colour. They did a lot of work to the car but it does look good. Missing 3 peices of the SD trim and I don`t remember if it is the original engine they rebuilt. Car is about 40 minutes from me.

be careful - I offered 15 for a 20 k car on here a few weeks back and got crapped all over for doing it $2500 off $14500 is close to the same- I do understand just making you aware of the implications

The funny thing is I don't think that's a low ball but I guess it shows how cheap I am. I hope I didn't piss off anybody.

I agree especially in this market. I'm down 2k on a 5k car with no bites and it should be a 7k car

Hi Ken, you've made your point! I think we should be able to discuss a cars market value on here without offending anyone... we're all adults! Nevermind actually putting up a real offer! I was thinking the same number ($12k) on this car, and I'd run like I stole it!! :) Too bad it wasn't in Winnipeg!

I said that exact thing to the guy Paul. told him I have a 6 cyl SD rag in need of complete... and couldnt do it for what he's selling a "runner" for.
looks pretty good..

My "blinders" are on these days.. so I wont be trying for that one.. "shoulda, coulda, woulda" if only I had waited another couple months..

oh yeah.. and he said he's only missing one small pc of the rocker trim.. ONLY!!!!

yes-you would think, I'm actually very careful not to comment

I've seen lotsa negatives on here-I try not to tune in

that said I don't think the numbers being suggested are unrealistic especially as offers-gotta start somewhere

you

Hi Ken, when i read my post again, i hope you interpreted my line "I think we should be able to discuss a cars market value on here without offending anyone"...as not directed at your post, but agreeing with you about being able to put numbers out without offending people (in particular the thread that you posted a an offer!)...they're just opinions based on peoples experience in the market!

For this car, i'll say it again, I was thinking the same number ($12k) on this car, and I'd run like I stole it!! If i was really excited over 65's probably $14k! Of course that is not a "sight unseen" price... have to know the condition!
