The only better would be if it was a Biscayne and one of the late build '61 409 cars!.
A '61 Strato w/ the same drivetrain is my ultimate dream car, utility sedan please!!!

That car is visually the Chevy twin to my Dad's Strato Chief, of course our's was a 261.

The owners manual I have and sales brochure does not show a 4 speed in 1961 for Pontiacs, a 3 speed is what is shown and no floor mounted shift either. The 348 tri power is rated at 280 HP.

Was your Dad's '61 Batwing a 2Dr. Post car Ray?.
Is it a '61 CP brochure you have and does it show the W-motor and/or mention the utility sedan?.

I cant remember the production figures, but it is low as hell

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
