When it comes to Canadian General Motors products the display is actually disappointing.
There are no Canadian Pontiacs on display, or Acadians or Beaumonts.
As you can guess with Toyota Canada as a sponsor there is the first Prius hybrid in Canada on display, a right hand drive '99.
Also on display is an '89 Corolla, a similar vintage Halifax assembled Volvo, and a Volkswagen Beetle.
No Canadian Pontiacs, one of the hottest selling cars in Canada in the '60s.
But don't worry, no AMC cars on display either, even though the Brampton plant was a major employer and the cars sold well.
And, although the museum has one of the nicest original Canadian built '66 "Chevybakers" in their storage facility, they did not see fit to put it on display either.
Lots of Canadian Built Ford products, a Manic GT and a Bricklin are on display.
Having said all that, if you come to Ottawa, it is still worth seeing.
