Nope I think Ustream is a lost cause. I was checking and we are too far from the tower (wireless internet) to have enough speed I would say. I'm sure that is why it's kicking out.
Back to plan B, Skype.

I just tried out my Skype and it's pretty good. Problem is, that is only to one computer and someone has to be at the other end to answer it before we leave home.

Yup, we were discussing it here (my wife sits right beside me at work and uses log me in as well)
I think this works.
I use a laptop at work, so I load Skype and Logmein on it.
My wife (Jo) has a Skype account too. In the morning from home, Carl uses Logmein and logs in to the laptop at work. He opens Carl's Skype on it.
Carl sits at his home computer before he leaves for work. He opens Jo's Skype and calls Carl's Skype which is running at work. He moves over to the Logmein window on his home computer and answers Carl's Skype, the call that comes in from Jo's Skype at home. He logs out of Logmein on the home computer but leaves the Skype call open.
When he gets to work, there should still be a call going between Jo and Carl on his laptop, even though he is not home.
Make sense?

It seems to be working well. Won't your internet provider frown upon this though? I'm with Rogers and they nail you with extra fees for using up that sort of bandwidth.
