That is very interesting. It has Honeycomb wheels not Snowflakes as described. You have to say to yourself, who would have ordered that car, that's what i would like to know. Probably a guy who had a 70 GTO and then his wife had a few babies and he needed to trade it in for a 4 door. He'd have to be pretty well employed too as that car most likely topped $6,500 back then.

There was the identicle car for sale in Montana in January, this has to be the same car. The price then, $4,500. Same colour combination as my '75 GA 4dr. Of course this is in way better shape. Mine is a 455 with a turbo 400 automatic.

I printed the ad from the one that was for sale in Montana and it look's like the same car. What are the chances that their are two identicle out of five? Could be a hard sell as it take's someone into these car's to want it. The stick is the interesting part, also the fact it's in a 4dr. I like it but $15,500 in today's econemy? You can't even get that money for the 2dr with a stick!

Hey have you ever seen a 400 4 spd 73 grand am with big halogen lights on the front of it. It had the american flag pin stripping on it. I should of took a picture of it. Is that the way they came? Is there any interest in such a car or are they a flat market?

Bucket seats and consule in a four door, you don,t see that to often. Cool option for the family man that still likes to bang threw the gears.

All '73-'75 Grand Am's came standard with buckets, console and auotmatic. The 4speed was an option in '73 and '74 only and available with the 400 and not the 455. In '75 you could option a power bench seat, a new option.

One of my High School buddy's family had a '75 Cutlass Salon, 4dr. It was building on this idea. It was a bucket seat console car as well and very very plush. The Olds had the Rocket 350 which was an 180 HP engine I believe.

For 73 they made 187 4-speed Grand Ams; of those only 6 were 4-doors. So now apparently Pontiac made 5 4-door 4-speed Grand Ams for 74. When you think about what it is and when it was made, well how unusual!

I went to look at a 4 door Grand Am years ago in Woodstock I believe. I can't remember if it was a 73 or 74 model but it definitely had a 400 and also was a 4 speed. I am pretty sure that Pontiac Pete of Lynden bought it. I believe that it was silver with a red interior as well. I should have bought it when I had the chance! cry
