I am assuming everyone tuned in to watch the leader debate last night. Who do you think came off looking the best. Park your political affiliations and be objective, who came out smelling like rose?

That's easy! Jumpin' Jack Flash. There's nothing like having nothing to lose. He was fast, on cue and he very clearly enjoyed himself. If I was Harper, I'd offer him a senate seat for the zinger he delivered against Count Iggy, who seemed kinda rough around the edges. I expected a more polished speaker. Having said that, it may actually broaden his appeal. ????? Prize for best suit goes to Duceppe who is always a guilty pleasure with me. He embodies the true Eurpoean politician: big eyed, finger pointing. Beautiful. Simply beautiful. And Little Stephen held no surprises which is what you'd expect when you want to play it safe. C'est tout!
For me it was also " AAARGH Captian Jack Layton " smilling all the way, quick response. Gilles Duceppe sounds like he is running for premier of Quebec not Priminister of the country.

Jack Layton won the debate wiith Duceppe a close second. I love the way Duceppe proved Harper a liar when he brought up the meeting in a Quebec hotel room . Harper wanted a coalition with with the Bloc and the NDP so he could be PM. Layton walked out of the meeting not wanting to back up Harper. Maybe Harper should play defense for the Montreal Canadians and he would improve their chances for a Stanley Cup run as that is all he did all night.
I was disppointed in the debate as there was nothing new from any of the parties.
They all looked like knobs to me! And one of these jerks will run our country?
