Bill its either 73-80 or 81-87 ---- remember the body change in the front for 1981

73-76, then 77-80, then 81-87. The 77-80 has an extra body line in the front of the hood that the earlier ones don't

That's an 81-87 hood..
The '80 and earlier hoods are different but all swap 73-80..

Back before chinese parts were available, the new for '81 sheet metal was simply gold in the bodyshop world!.
We were fixing everything then also I remember scoring a few new DIT hoods and fenders that were supposed to've been destroyed..

On the 73-80 hoods, the front crease wasn't included on any factory 77's and any you see on a '77 truck would be swapped or aftermarket pieces..
Late '78 production would be the earliest you'd see the crease as it showed up after the big headlite doors that encompassed the lower signal lamps came out during mid 78 production..
