350 LT1, LT4 cam, roller rockers, aluminum heads, ported to match and polished, wrapped headers, built 460LE, Auburn limited slip w 3:08s.....Flowmasters get installed tomorrow.
All I can say is you're gonna love it. I have not been without a big rear drive LT1 since 2000. We are down to our Fleetwood and our son's Roadmaster now but we've owned 4 at a time at one point over the years. Great cars, tons of fun (haha), comfy, reasonable of fuel etc etc.

Police car at one point...yeah I know...weird sitting in the front...lol....j/k 9C1 option package standard on Police vehicles.4000lbs and it works well!
I worked in Finance for a big municipality and we could buy 9C1 cars so not all of them were put in Police service, some went to Fire Services, which was good because usually District Chiefs used them as take home cars so well looked after and others went to By-Law Enforcement. Not all 9C1 cars saw in service Police duty. We had a Plymouth Caravelle Police Special for Fianance Dept to use at one point.
opps you are right. I ran the VIN and decoded it. Ill have to check the buyers package(in car) and see where it served. Not sure if it will tell me.... Goot have my breakfast of champions first (java) before I do anything! LOL

The interior looks too clean to have been a in service Police car, We specified vinyl seats in rear and rubber floors as well for Police cars, that one has carpet and velour seats. The cars for our District Fire Chiefs while 9C1 were ordered a little more civilized, same for By-Law Officiers, we even got the Chief an Olds 88 LS at one point.
He put carpet and Bonneville seats in it. Overhead console from an astro van and a floor console from a SUV. All colour coded to match. Even the power seats were wired into the doors(bonneville switches are on the seats).it looks all factory
That's a great score there ! Kudos to the previous owner. My Bonneville had the exact seats now that you point that out, blue too, most comfortable seats I ever had in any car.

Went in for safety today and got 40 series Flowmasters installed. Thanks to my son and his detailing capabilities(taught by moi). He did a great job ! Has a nice stout yet quiet sound. I like to replace the resonators with straight tailpipes but cant afford it at this moment. In time. Havent owned the car but 24 hours; I contacted former owner and he told me it was from Bridgewater NS and was a RCMP patrol car in white and he got it from an auction. Kinda nice to know! Wheels need to be polished but again takes time.
lots of little things that Id like to fix or repair(no its not a Ford, lol).
Weird riving it though. Feels like my 97 Bonneville but has balls of newer Fbody :)
Like a wolf in sheeps clothing. LOL
Wife was asleep when it arrived at midnight and the car was gone before she woke up. She will see when she gets home at 830pm. Too bad its gonna rain off and on for next week. And its cold here in London. Will post pics soon
