I am thinking if you would drive it at an angle through a bit of a ditch the doors might open!!
why ?
I was kidding about them actually opening but the door gaps would sure widen in that situation. The boxed frame on the convertibles takes a lot of the twist out of the body.

This reminds me of a black 66 Chevelle model I had as a kid (AMT I think). My brother stepped on it and after the beat down he took, I salvaged it as a convert. Yours looks a fair bit better then the job I did
