Decoding a 67 Beaumont

Hi there,

I found this forum by trying to do a search on decoding my 67 Beaumont that I am restoring right now...

Paint: 9

Body: 833522

Trim: M35 851D 55 D99

Style: 73617  2 11 14

Any help would be great..

Thank you very much, I was just down at the shop and wish I would have read this earlier..

I will stop down there and get the rest of the paint code and the interior code.

Thanks again!

Just an FYI, but the "9" adjacent to the paint code means the car is painted in enamel (typical for Canadian Chevelles & Beaumonts) rather than Magic Mirror Acrylic Laquer.

The date for the dropping of the Sports Option seems to be Nov 21, 1966. As 68sd pointed out, the presence of D55 on the trim tag means that your car was built after the Sports Option was discontinued, so your car would have been trimmed as a Custom with optional bucket seats and optional console.
