Back in about 1982 I took a 455SD 4 spd, red Trans Am for a test drive. It had about 60,000 miles on it. Can't remember what year it was - 74 maybe? They were asking $3000. I wanted it bad, but $3000 was about 30 times more than my net worth at the time. It was in terrific shape and a fun car to drive!

I think he's got the colour code wrong on this one though. Bucaneer red? Maybe just Redneck...

Yes Bucaneer Red was first available in '73-code 75.And was also the firs year for the "Screaming Chicken" decal on the hood.The other color-most desireable of all years-was Brewster Green with tan interior.Very hard to find a good example of one.
