I'd NEVER usually say this about a Beaumont ...BUT "salvage the remaining spare parts...and put it out of it's missery!" Very rare cool car...sad to see how far gone it's become today.  disbelief   ...VERY VERY RUSTY guts.

That car is still saveable. I have seen worse brought back. You would have to be adept with a floor puller and some welding. It looks like a ton of work but with patience and skill you could end up with a nice, rare car that will be worth a fraction of what you put into it. You would have to be either an eternal optimist of a masochist. The car is relatively simple and 1967 283s & Powerglides are cheap.

Whats that? You want a modern chassis & upgraded drivetrain? Slip it under the body.

1 of 100 eh? That is only the 3rd  1967 732-series vert I have ever heard of. It could and IMHO should be saved. Floors, trunk & wheelhouses are not that hard to replace on GM A-bodies of that era.

All verts are worth saving. Would you rather buy a piece of crap for 10K and then dump 20K into it or get into this one for 20600.00?

Don't get me wrong.  I totally agree it should be saved.  I've tackled projects that have been in compairable shape and have really enjoyed the restoration process.  The only downside to saving such a worthy ride ...is having to deal with the hole it creates in your pocketbook!  That said, if your going to be devoted and commit to restoring it to it's former glory, you need to be prepaired and knowledgable, or you'll lose intrest like so many others have.  no

I hope like hell someone steps up and saves it because "putting it out of it's missery" would be a shame.  BUT...I'm betting it has no tittle.

starky......depending what you want to interchange

the reality here is that yes it is rare to see a base conv but who wants to get involved to that point in order to own a less desirable ( option Wise ) convertible.

a lot of work here....... but someone with a couple of donor cars and much time on his hands would be the ideal candidate.

hope she gets saved
