Who woke up and watched the Royal wedding of Kate & William? In our home 4 out of 5 did, we had fresh baked scones and english muffins for breakfast.
Quite the event. The first official visit of the newly married couple will be here to Canada for Canada Day. We gave them hiking equipment as out national gift so hopefully it will be put to good use in July.

I wonder why it running an L plate on the front, that used to mean there was a learner behind the wheel at least it was when I learned how to drive in scotland back in the early 60's
You're correct but I think in this case it refers not to him being a learner driver but a learner "husband". It just shows he has a sense of humour, especially as they've been together so long already!
Call me a party pooper but I would not cross the street to see it.You would think it was the second coming of Christ.People all over the world are getting dressed up ( hats and all ) in their homes having a British lunch while watching it all unfold on the big screen like they are acually there..... This hillbilly can`t under stand it.
Can't say anyone in our household got up at 3:00 in the morning to watch the Telly and have tea and crumpets. Call me unrefined but not even sure what a crumpet is. I do have to say that William does have better taste in women than his old man. Camilla not Diana.
