"68 Parisienne Fender Skirts ? ?

. . Bought a set of '67-'68 Catalina fender skirts intending to put them on the money pit ('68 parisienne). . Don't fit, by a lot. . The Parisienne did get a new set of lower quarter panels at some point. . Curious if the difference is the new lower quarters or between the Catalina and Parisienne. .   confuse

Hi there,

The issue will be the new 1/4's. I went through the same dilemna.

The lip of the wheelwell opening of the repro 1/4's is not designed to accept fender skirts. I was really disappointed by this myself, as my 2+2 originally came with skirts and I love the look.

If you're planning on any bodywork in the near future, I suppose you could get your guy to work the wheelwell openings to fit.

Regards,

Scott (LandShark ...)

. . I can cut and reshape the skirts I have. . Just wanting to be sure what the issue was before I go chopping on anything. .
