My 1968 2dr htp Grande Parisienne needs a few things......

.......okay, maybe more than a few things, lol, but here's a start. I'm looking to buy the following items if a member has one or two or more and wants to part with them, maybe we can work something out. I need a rear-view mirror, perhaps an am-fm radio (not sure on that yet), a set of floor mats, a trunk mat. Wouldn't mind a few new parchment colored door panels, lol, but might have to wait on those. I need a new antennae, black console cover, two of the hard parchment colored front bucket seat backs. That's about it for this particular moment, if I think of something else, I'll use it to bump my ad back up, lol.......thanks for reading.........Doug.

P.S.....should be able to throw a couple new pics up real soon.........

Ya, I will, but I thought first I would check and see if anyone in the club wanted to get rid of stuff that they don't need anymore. That would get them some spending cash and free up some room for them. Thanks for the tip.

Do you still have the original seat backs. If you do and they are all weathered as mine were, there is option two. I had an upolstry shop glue vinal to the backs and it turned out great. I had it done as a temporary fix ten years ago and the glue is still holding so I never went any further looking for new backs. Also I had my panels painted and that turned out pretty decent too.100_1340.jpg

Yes, I have the same seat back. Thanks for the tip, I would never have thought of that. Your interior looks great, wow! The door panels too, eh? Cool. How's your console cover? Mine is all there, but been repaired. Someone obviously had their honey sitting on it at one time or another, lol. With the way the market is dropping on collectible cars, I don't want to spend tons of $$$ that I know I am not going to recoup. I'm way more interested in having an enjoyable daily driver...........thanks again for your help..........Doug.

Hi Terry, thanks for the post. Just looking for something that is era oriented and black. I need front and back if possible. I was going to look at NOS stuff tonight and see what they have. I guess I could just go down to Crappy T and grab something from there. Just kinda trying to stay on track with original type stuff.........atleast early in the game, lol.....don't want to start shopping at Wal-Mart too soon.....takes all the challenge out of it.....

You were asking how my console cover was. Well it was missing. I found a green console, robbed the cover and painted it black. Is yours cracked or pieces missing? I'm pretty sure cracked can be repaired. Oh and about those floor mats. I found a nice set of carpet ones from you know it - Crappy Tire.
