Stopped in to see the guru tonight (myself and Fake68).

What a cool car! Looks better in person! (The car, not the guru....! He was a bit grubby, we caught him working!)

Hopefully the price was right so you can give it a nice resto. Rags are my favorite for sure.

The car would have had full wheels discs shown in the picture below. option or RPO P01. The dog dish caps would have been used on the cheap models.

It was ordered with the optional full wheel covers in the pic above.

The dogdish would have been standard equipment with color key wheels.  Black rims were only on full wheel cover cars.

So the dogdish are correct for a beaumont custom, its just that this particular car has the opitonal P01's

Yes, it is in good condition, and can be driven as it is right now(except for some brake work).

Damn Manitoba safety is the only thing preventing me from driving it.

Good question.  Considering that the feeling is that 408 Beaumont Custom 8 cyl Convertibles were produced which includes both auto and standard versions with the 283, 327 and 396, it's a pretty low number.  (Not that this helps answer your question LOL.)

Maybe a quarter of those were standards?  And of those standards I can't imagine more than 1/3 were 327's?  Therefore maybe a couple of dozen?...

JUST KIDDING, it looks great. Some time when I plan to be in I'd like to call ahead and arrange a visit if it suits you.
