not sure.. but I think that was restored by the same guy that restored mine.. it's an older restoration, but you'd never know it.

The wheels are a funny story.  The car was prepped on a Friday and I was to pick it up Saturday.  The dealer, Stampede Pontiac in Calgary, parked it on the roof that night.  Someone decided to steal the original covers so the dealer put on a set from a Grand Parisienne.  I liked the look so that is how it stayed except for a brief time in the 80s when I had a set of mags on it.  I have a set of the standard hub caps and one day I might put them on.

That's a pretty cool story. Every car is unique in it's own way.

They have centers like a 68 SD so I like them. I am a hub cap freak so I asked you a question about them. You would love this car because of the color combo. It's local so us.

Great looking car, and great story about the wheel covers Coop. Any more tidbits about your car ... lots of history there!

My all time favorite car. I remember the hubcap storey. I'd do rallys and redlines or cragars and a stripe too but that's me. Awesome car !

Nice thing about original wheels and hub caps

is the ability to wrap in blankets and put away.....

Rallys and red lines would make a beautifull car,   a "stunning" car    (2cents Cdn.)
