Headliner

Since I bought the car with interior missing, including headliner, does anyone know what I will need for new headliner install? I can get the liner, but what trim pieces do I need, and I hear there are two types of ear muff boards! Is there a no-brainer way of telling which I had, wether its the small or large board!! I'll have a pro guy install it, but I wanna make sure I have everything he'll need when he does it!! Thanks

I sent you a pm with my number. Give me a call I have a copy of the parts manual you can have. It's a photo copy of the entire manual. I now have an original so I don't need it.

early 66 is small era muffs late are full ear muffs, you can have windlace above you windows inside or a chrome header above windows, both are correct.

So my car was dated at Jan 20 66, so I'm assuming i had the small muff board! So I'm looking at the bare roof, and the rails, is it only compatible for the small board, or can I do the large board if I wanted!!

the small sail panels where an early production and I think maybe a real early run. In 25 years I have only sold 2 or 3 at the most     and one of those was a   GTO. Thh headliner has a tail that drops into the sail panel area. The later models simply have a larger sail panel. If your car was produced in Jan 66 I think chances are you would have the larger sail panels

the full sail panels are way easier to install.

I prefer the look of larger panels !!! So, it doesn't matter how it came out of the factory, either large or small panel will work right!?? Im trying not to confuse anyone, if I bought the kit for the large sail panel, then took it in to the shop, the installer won't turn turn to me and say "this won't work, cause ur car is supposed to use the small panel", or vice versa!!??
