I agree that Black GTO is very nice. Is he running a late model GTO engine? I am not being critical in anyway , do we know that the car left the factory as a GTO, that chrome post style car seems to me to be more common in a LeMans. Also if original it would be a very rare car and not likely resto-moded and engine swapped like that. I'd take it is a nano second just the same. Black with red guts has to be the all time classic combo in this era.

I know the owner of the black one and give him full credit for what he has done to this car. I have heard of what he started out with and it is a phenomal job on it. He is quite proud of it as it was done from top to bottom in his garage at home. It did start out as a lemans but it is his car and he has done what he wanted. He stoppped by while I was doing the tempest. And Kevin dont take this the wrong way but that car is a rocket. Looks big but has hidden wings

Marty let him know the car is absolutely awesome. I was just curious about the body style. He has done nothing GM didn't do, we all know a GTO is a LeMans to start with. What engine is he running, looks like a late model LS series.
