new member here, was wondering what the general thoughts on this car were.
saved it from 20 inch wheels and a rediculous stereo system,it needs ALOT of help, rear quarters trunk interior and the frame has rusting at the crossmember but hey it wasn't too spendy so why not? this will be my first major project, and also my first canadian pontiac (HUGE fan of american ones),it has been no more than a "project" a neglected one at that for the past 2 decades so i decided i will learn how to make an awesome vehicle with something unique....i've never seen another around here.
i'm understanding that this will take impala chassis/suspension parts and catalina/bonneville interior/body?
also is a CS kinda like an american SS?
i was wondering what you guys can tell me about my car and i figured you guys have a database/registry you add em' to....forgive me i know not how this works.
sorry if i seem uninformed...i'm new to this also i'm 22 so you guys could totally pass your awesome veteran advice on to me
anyway here ya go,let the information fly gentlemen.
Welcome aboard, you have come to the right place for information. The Custom Sport is equivilent to an Impala SS, and as you mention the chassis and driveline is all Chevrolet. Body panels are unique to Canadian cars but some of our experts will tell you what can be made workable from US cars. You are going to have a unique car in Washigton and one of the most desirable years and models of Canadian Pontiacs.
