Ah, you must be the one who bought the Winnipeg car on the weekend.

Can you supply any numbers off the trans?  Is the car a driver or apart?

Hi and welcome ! Great car you bought, one of only 676 1969 GP 4 speed ! I called for it too. I think the M22 has a drain plug on the bottom so 2 plugs on the transmission. Are you going to do a ground up restoration some day ? Also, I would like to see your car if possible...Good luck with it.

Pascal, some other Muncies have a drain plug too though. No guarantee it's an M22 if it has a plug.

I never even heard about the car before it was sold. I would love to see it some time.

the man told me they swapped it out from 21 to 22, but its apart and the gears for sure are 21s, so either who ever did it for him told him that ,or just rebuilt it and said that. anyway it has a ring on the shaft and 10 teeth and 27 or 28 at the other end . the case for sure is 22. right now im trying to start it, wont budge was sitting to long, got it soaking.....any thoughts??? or advice

One ring on the input?

Just keep soaking it, be patient, especially if it is the original block.

You can get a TOD yourself if he can't. All you do is take in the bill of sale, they search it, when it comes back clear you pay 15 bucks and they generate a TOD.

1 ring input should be an M21, yes.

Patience, patience with the engine!!!
