As some of you know I had purchased Hillars 1969 Boneville 428 wagon to restore, well with how busy my shop is and personal life I just dont have the time so I would like to sell it, all the parts that I have gotten for it and also a 1967 Catilyna(not shure is that is spelled proper) with a 400ci and tranny they are both really solid cars and the wagon is pretty rare, Im asking $3500obo for everything I have for the project I can make a detailed list but that is what I have into the project so far, alot of hard to find parts are included. I also have a really nice set of 20" rims and tires that fit full size GM the tires have 85% tread left I would like $1700obo I will get pics ASAP. Please contact me or Todd if you have any questions about what I have. I have decide to find a running driving car that just needs detail work actually I have found a 1968 Cadillac 2dr Deville in really nice shape but the Pontiac's must go first to many projects and not enough time or space!
I'm going to try to get over to Tiny's shop tomorrow to take a bunch of photos for him. It's sad that he has to sell it but he has a lot on his plate (The good news being his shop is extremely busy). The 67 Catalina is a 4 door sedan solid Kentucky car that has a good running 400. Heck, if you found another motor for the wagon it wouldn't take much to get it on the road.
When Hillar came to Calgary to look at the Green & Gold 2+2, I was parting out a 70 Safari Estate wagon. Hillar took the rear seat speaker grille, and the rear wind deflector from the roof for the 69 Bonneville.
I guess I forgot to mention I would be open to trades for a running driving interesting car I like anything different kind of like Todd. Also I have lots of SBC stuff and a 429ci caddy motor I will put a package together Im really motivated to get rid of this project I want something to drive ASAP
Guys I would really like to sell everything at once so maybe if a couple of people are interested they can make a deal between each other but I need $3500 or close to it for all the pontiac stuff and what ever else I need to make it happen.
Jonathan, I thought of you when I saw the Catalina. Cool car. I'm not sure if Jeff has the taillights and headlight bezels though. The seats need work but the rest is good as it is. Now that I'm 3 minutes drive to work I thought the Cat would be a good summer driver for me but I just dont have the time or space..
It would not be appropriate for the founder of Canadian Poncho to be driving a '67 Catalina. We can live with the Firebird because it was originally sold and built for Canada.
