hi my name is john i just bought a 68 beaumont one of the things i need is a dash pad i am thinking about a slip over cover for now and when the winter comes i will send the dash out to have it restored has anyone used a overlay my car has no dash vents and pad appears to be the same as a 68 gto can anyone help also i got my car off ebay it is light blue has a 454 or 502 and 4 speed auto i believe a 700r4 it has blue bucket seat interior and a posi rear end very low gears i got it from indiana anyone know this car

Ames shows a new dash pad for 68 GTO which is the same ($225). It must be a new item because there is no review on how it fits. I wouldn't bother with a dash cap if you are going to have it done.
Hey John, the dashcaps are cheap and look and feel the same way, buy an aftermarket Dashpad or have yours restored, you will be much happier with the end result. I am pretty sure it is the same as a 1968 GTO/ Lemans/ or Skylark and they are made aftermarket. Good Luck !!!! Mylo

yes this is the one i have made some changes did not like the pontiac ralleys so have changed to american racing torque thrusts 18 inch does anyone know this car
i have never heard of ames can you tell me how to find them on the net. i have bought most of my parts for my other cars from year one or cliffs classics. some how i put my first post in the wrong place i guess it should have been under beaumont interiors
