Engine # V = V-8 (265) # 37571.  No '9' indicates a manual gearbox.

All Chevy V-8 engines were built by The McKinnon Industries Ltd of St Catherines, Ontario. Manual gearboxes were built by Windsor Transmission Plant in Walker Road, Walkerville/Windsor.
