This car was bought brand new in 1969 by Clementina Smith in my hometown Gull Lake, Sask.

This car has always been tarped and stored indoors. After her passing she left it to her nephew. Who took very good care of this car too.

He decided to sell the the car to buy a new truck and trailer. His son who is my nephew caught wind of this and gave me a call. Being that I knew the car and I wanted it to stay in the family, I bought it.

After 8 years I've decided to sell it, as I barely drive it and it just takes up all the room in my garage.

This car was only built in Canada. It still has two original headlights, the interior is all original and in excellent condition. The engine has 56,000 original miles and purrs like a kitten. The doors and trunk lid etc, all open and close like new condition and has a new vinyl roof. Also this car has never been in a accident.

I have the original bill of sale, delivery ticket, warranty protect-o-plate, new vehicle warranty and owners manual.

I have records that this lady had kept of every belt, oil change and tires etc that were all done to this car.

The attached pic of the ad with the original wheels on it, is the ad when her nephew had it up for sale and thats the way I bought it.

Asking $27,000.00 or best offer.

Serious inquiries only!!!

 Fred

Have you ever seen a breakdown for the number of L48 cars built. They can't be too common.

A numbers matching original car with these options is pretty rare. How much was the one out east that was not a numbers car? Wasn't it around $20K before he added the big brakes and wheels.

I don't think you could find one and restore it for what he is asking. Too bad there are no engine pictures to know that it is original under the hood.

It is a soft market so it's hard to say if it will sell for that price but you never know. Do you think it would be worth that much as a SD clone? A Chevelle would be but it would be a shame to cut up a numbers matching car.

I think they are too. This L48 was the highest output engine option in a Beaumont if you wanted bucket seats. The 300HP 350 was no slouch. Rated 300Hp at 4800 RPM with stock manifolds and single exhaust. The dealer paperwork shows the car having dual exhaust. A real screamer.
