i have a 1964 Parisienne CS with a 327 300 HP 4 speed car
when it was restored, they used original cork seals and gaskets, they did a period correct restoration
and now a few of them are leaking and need replacing
should i use original looking cork seals and gaskets again or can i upgrade to rubber seals?
where can i buy the seals and gaskets?
I don't have any problem with cork gaskets. Any auto parts supply store should be able to help you out.
There may be other reasons for the leak depending where the oil is coming from.
