68 1/2????

Hi there,

Has anybody heard of a 68 1/2 Beaumont??  We have a odd car, and are looking to sell it.

Its registered as a 69, has 69 tail lights and grill, but has '68 doors and I believe dash.

Its a 2door post with a six and as far as we know and by looking insde the door jams underneath the hood crevesess etc..... it all seems original.

I have not heard nor seen of Beaumont throwing '69 parts on a '68 car mid production, my understanding of Beaumonts was all '68's had vent windows, '69's didn't.  I want to know what I have and not look like a fool when selling it, any help would be appreciated. ou!

Thank y

Welcome to the site Kim. I read your bio and it looks like you have quite a CP family. You are going to be asked to share pictures of your "babies"

It sounds like the guys have the answers for your question.

I will grab the VIN here tommorow, car is at the farm, but I didn't know that the posts all had vent windows, though that was what I was suspecting. Every '69 my family owned was a hardtop, and I have only seen 1 other post, and it was rolled in a wrecking yard.

I really appreciate learning something new, fantastic~I wonder if the ol man knew............

The two door hardtop and convertable are the only 69's without vent windows all the other models have the vent window including the four door hardtop.
