Hi Harley

I know yours is a Pontiac but the 53 Chev Users Guide says to run their 6.70 - 15 at 24 psi front and rear ( pressures shown are minimum cold ).

         Thats too low .....  hmm   real world results will show you  car will wander around like a old tin can...and wear the edges of tires   try at least (min) 28   

Excuse my 2 cents  I only instslled and sold tires from 1969 til 2006

I filled up my Dad's tires throughout the years @ 32 psi. It is the magic number I always remember since my diaper-pooping age.
