Looking for a '64 or 65 Lemans / Tempest for a good friend. ( Hardtop or Conv) 

Will consider most any '64 / '65 if it has a MINT Original Body. He prefers Original cars but rust free cars are so hard to find he is open to a modified car. Not looking for a project unless needing very little.

I just appraised a sweet one family owned 65 lemans hardtop 326 auto maroon with white top 36,000 miles-would fit the bill nicely but the 87 year old owner says its not for sale-I'll keep you posted if it comes up

Thanks for all the replys! Very much appreciated. I will pass the info on and see what he wants to do. If he wants to pursue any of them I will let you know.
I know the body must be Original  ('64-'65 only)  and any project must be very, very minimal!
By the way Pontiacanada what is wrong with helping some friends try to find a car??? I have been around the hobby a long
time and when they ask me to help...I try my best to help plus I really enjoy the searching! I personally can't afford to buy these cars! ( would be nice ) It is very difficult to find good or great cars and some guys just don't have the time or the expertise when they do find something! Hey!! Just trying to help.....Have a Nice Day!

I have a 1964 LeMans in great condition. It has a pont 400 with a turbo 400 3 speed trany. I have had the interior replaced with the original color and I have also had the trunk and quarters replaced. The car has been painted int he last year or so. I have Uni Lung rims on it with American Racing caps on the rims. I bought it as a project car and now that it is finished I am looking for some thing else. It runs great the engine has 69 GTO heads, Performer Intake, Aluminum FloCooler water pump, Aluminum Radiator, and electric fans. Im asking $25,000. $30,000 each, the 65 is all new upgraded suspension and running gear 2000miles, lots of money spent, needs body work paint and interior finished. Its dyno ed at 430 rear wheel horse, 550-560 at the engine. This is brand new engine and driveline not from a wrecked car.
