RE: September 2011 Feature Car

I had a '56 Chevy wagon with a 283 over bored to 301, 3-2's, a 327/350hp cam, ported/polished 327 heads, full-length headers and a Hurst 3-on-the-floor (kept blowin' trannies out of it...). Bright yellow with grey Corvette slotted rallies on the back and original Torq-Thrust Ds on the front. That thing could haul and I still kick myself now for ever selling it...I loooove wagons...beautiful ''66 long-top Corey...!

We just cruised ours out to Mission Dragway here in BC for the Jetcar weekend. My son sponsors a race team (Nasty Fish Racing) and we ended up having our own little car show - our '64 rag, a '60 Vette, a white '69 Trans Am 400 and a gorgeous black '57 Chevy bigwindow pickup - and I forgot my camera!!!! I'll try to get some pics from someone....

I must apologize to Cory, here we were in Radium, both at the car wash drying our cars after washing them and I commented how I loved the 66, Grande Safari Strato Cheif, square gages mean sounding engine etc, and for the life of me i have it my mind, where have i seen this car, well it's been the feature car since the beginning of Sept, duuuh, some day i'll get my head out of -- --- and pay attention, I really fell like an ass.

Beautiful car Cory, looks better in real life and sounds great and again accept my apology

Gerry
