          Is 40,000 like Chinese yen?    The car looks nice with its drum brakes and needing a little engine compartment paint    I'd expect a little more for 40,000 (2 cents)

$40000 Australian dollars = $41112.91 in CDN funds. It's expensive to restore North American cars in Australia.
