Are the seat frames and plastics on a 68 pontiac parrisenne 2+2 seat the same as 68 beaumont buckets?

yes, you will have to buy A-body tracks, which are now available.

unless I'm wrong, the seat button on a- body is on the side in 68...

roger is right, the seats are the same and all you'll need to do is change the tracks, they are available repopped but are not cheap (guess~timate $275., Dale @ N.O.S should be able to help you out there). the '68's seats although appear to be the same as '67's are not. the '67's are metal backs and side covers and '68's are plastic and the design of the backs differ as well. dave out
