can someone please tell me how to identify a sport deluxe from a custom beside the side fins.also would like to know if serial number would tell you if the car was born a six or 8 cylinder.thanks shiky.i ned to know this for a fellow at a car show is trying to sell me his car.thanks again by the way if i buy this car i am going to be a nuisance asking milion questions

i only have the serial number this far its a 1967 beaumont sport deluxe serial number 7381771109721.will this help

 This thread has some info from C.P. members. The car looks promising. Seems to be priced right. If I were looking at it I would be looking at the quality of the previous body work. Were the quarters replaced? Look at the frame and all the body mount locations. The ones behind the rear wheels were prone to rotting out. The base of the rear window is a bad spot for holding moisture and is usually a problem area. This car is missing the rear quarter script and the rocker mouldings. Not a big deal they are both reproduced but why are they missing? The cross flags are wrong. This car should have the V8 badges. Bring a magnet with you to check for excessive fill.

heres the info on that lakefield beaumont.went to see it but sorry to say its not up to my standards. chrome is 80% pittet interior needs some atention but otherwise undercarriage is nice and clean free of rust no undecoat.bob the owner very nice man and eas to deal with if anyone interested
