carpet


is the carpet screwed down,i noticed holes in the fire wall was just wanting to know if i should weld those up or are the for the carpet

Are they quite large?

Those may be the ones that hold on the firewall insulation pad under the dash. If you're not sure, pictures?

carpet is not screwed down. Firewall pad does use clips usually xmas tree style

Are you sure about that? Are you not installing a firewall pad like the factory used?

on mine firewall pads used a large hole in firewall and a tapered plastic pin

holes should be above where carpet stops and behind heater box

some holes are for wiring and brake cables etc.

the holes are small and below the pad
