1958 american pontiac fenders


I have a chance to pick up a pair of rust free 58 pontiac front fenders but they are for an american pontiac.Ive always heard that the american cars are longer in the bonneville series but I wonder if anyone knows if the other american series are longer too,im not sure  which model these fenders are off and the owner isnt sure either,any help here would be appreciated,thanks,Rob.

I'm sure they are longer no mattter what series, than the Cdn. line, Can the seller take some measurements & you do the same on old ones????

In Comparing the following two photos of a Parisienne and Catalina it appears that the door edge to wheel well opening is considerably longer on the US car.

It sure does look like the american car is longer at that point so probably all american cars are longer.Ive sent length measurments of my old rusty fenders to the seller and am waiting to hear back from him,that should put it to rest.Thanks for the help guys.

If I recall ,the hood to fender lines are different on the am models , than the can models ,unless you change the hood as well,then I dont know if the bolt pattern is the same .hope this helps
