Sometimes our own state of mind can cause us to misconstrue what someone is saying in a post. I know I am bad at doing this when I'm having a bad day and have actually PM'd members saying "What the hell did you mean by .....?!" It seems the grumpy posts come in waves. It's usually this time of year (depressed that Summer is over) and then about late Feb or early March when we've had about enough of Winter. Like Vincent I like to come here to unwind and relax and escape some of life's realities. Imagine the fun the moderators and myself have. We have to determine what posts/threads stay and ones we can leave alone. I also have to deal with quite a number of PM's from people complaining about what others are saying. It can be a thankless job.
Anyway, Vincent it would be a shame to lose you. I hope you'll stick around as I feel you are an asset to the website. I'd love to take a trip to Saskatchewan some day and have you show me all those treasures you post photos of. Us eastern folk are really envious of you!

You know Todd, state of mind it was... I sat down, mad as heck and the started to type... When I had calmed down with writers remorse, I went to delete my post but it was too late as MC had copied it! (And that was good as I and others would have said nothing)

I don't get mad often on here but this morning was an a-typical Monday that crap went south before I woke up and it carried on to here! For that I apoligize to all for it!

And no need to be envious... we all have our treasures!! Mine are of the 4 wheeled design only....... Most of you guys have families!!!!

But I will restate that I am here if something of interest pops up to anyone and I am at all close to it.... and.......

...no need to be too terribly upset on here!

That being said, Fred would kill me if I left... It would mean that he would be in bed by 9pm instead of 3 in the morning............. evileye

Hey Vincent.... we all have bad days from time to time and I too have typed while in a bad state of mind and regretted it later.  No worries from this end, I'm just sorry I quoted you before you had a chance to delete it! biggrin

Glad you're not leaving!  smile

I might have to take you up on your offer some day, though, the lure of western cars is becoming too great...

-Mark

I missed most of this earlier. For what it's worth I don't find much testiness at all on this site. I visit other sites and invariably there is someone who gets on everyone else's nerves. I don't get that here; everyone is great. So let's not be too hard on ourselves.

Good choice Vince, we need guys like you on here.  I also get a kick out of the times that those eastern boys show up on here, I'm already yawning but they don't want to miss anything.

^^^What he said, Vince^^^

Stick around, there sometimes is a day like that here and there.

And Jerel, I know what you mean. I don't think Ray and Fred actually sleep. I sometimes quit at 1:00 our time and they may still be here!

It was a fun Monday at work too. Just be happy you don't have to work on those Mercedes Sprinter vans that Dodge was selling for a while. I have one in the shop with about 6 hours labor invested and $600 in parts and it still won't run right.disbelief

It's one of two we have been working on. The other has been with us for 2 months!

The manuals are terrible translations from German and alot of them are full of mistakes!
