mid height side trim question 65 beaumont.

I am a rookie with beaumonts..

Can someone please explain the mid body side trim on my 65 beaumont deluxe wagon 4dr? I presume? that it comes on 1965 "deluxe" beaumonts  only.

Does this come on 1965 4dr deluxe cars only?  Did they make a 1965 2dr deluxe?  I can't find a pic anywhere that shows a 1965 2dr with this trim?

Is the 1964 trim on 2drs the same trim as the 65 trim? obviously the front fender design is different a bit. but shape and style?

I have included a pic of my burgandy deluxe wagon, and a 64 convert from the web to show what I mean513847207_o.jpg

I also need a RH grill if someone has one for sale or a lead on one for me.. ready to purchase.  driver quality condition is fine with me. Thanks a bunch!

That black deluxe 65 is the same as mine but I don't know what you are asking? The mid chrome is deluxe trim. The 64 trim is different and the one shown is a custom. I have never seen a deluxe 2dr but they might exist. I have 2 deluxe 4 dr sedans. Your 65 deluxe wagon would have that mid chrome on the black 65.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

65sssd thanks for the info.. the two bottom pictures are of my wagon.. the middle picture I guess does make it look black. and thanks for clearing up that the 64 trim is different than the 65.

So has anyone ever seen a 2dr with the deluxe mid body trim? picture or in person.. seems like they don't exist?

I kinda figured you were trying to sniff out a set. I only have front fender pieces. They are around but few and far between. The door and quarter parts would be the hardest to find for a 65 2dr HT. The 64 stuff is also hard to find. I think the mid chrome looks best on both cars. Better than a SD and Yes I said better than a SD.

I know of a 65 deluxe Station Wagon in Manitoba,  Have not seen it for about 6 years.

Field car,  restoreable probably,  it is a 6cyl meadow Green with fawn interior.  Id love to own it if it is ever for sale,  i have tried many times,  with no luck

There was one for sale on here about a year and a half ago or so from southern B.C., Oliver or Osoyoos. Looked pretty good and was for around a thousand bucks. The guy used to come on here and he had a couple hundred cars at the time. Clint (seventy2plus2) will know who he is as he dealt with him on some parts and I think went down and saw his yard when he was at the Penticton car show.
