The exhaust tips are what my '69 SD came with, can't speak for '68.
Mine had the chambered exhaust with resonators just inside the back bumper..replaced it once and then went to mufflers..

not all cheetahs in 68 or 69 had 4spds, all i have ever seen had bumper gaurds and none remote mirrors.
