1969 SD-396 stripe kit - BLACK - SOLD - Thank You CP

I ordered a white stripe kit for a member on the site and when I called to get them made I told them to make them the same as the last ones I ordered so they made a white kit and a black kit.

So now I have a spare black kit. It comes with all the stripe panels, two sets of SD-396 letters for the front fenders, panels to fill the rear tail panel trim and enough of the stripes to allow for a couple of errors or to replace them if they get damaged.

The fit is excellent, pictures of the kit can be seen on my car or Bill's car.

It is a vinyl kit so I don't think I would take a chance of clearing over it. It is high quality vinyl so no issues with tearing, etc. when you are installing it.
It is not difficult to install yourself if you have any experince installing vinyl stripes. Use soapy water and squeegy out the water so you may move it around slightly. Don't apply them in direct sunlight as they may stretch and distort.
The two piece stripes are already the correct width and spacing.
I can provide pictures and the measurements for installing that I took from my original fenders with the factory stripes still on them.

Maybe Bill could share his experience as well. I know he posted pictures on the forum when he was putting them on his SD.

Great score Fred (and thanks Brad for the donation)! I thought about buying it for a fleeting moment to have "just in case" an SD comes my way some day.

Love that car. That stripe kit just looks so good on a 69 Beaumont. Now I am dreaming.

The stripes are on the way to you Fred. You should get them on Monday. Let me know if you need any help when the time comes to put them on.

 Thanks, Brad

No problem Fred. I'm glad the trick or treaters didn't get them. The envelope you sent me arrived today too.
Again, if you need any help installing them, more pictures, more measurements or whatever just let me know.

SD_396 is not on here as much as he used to be. I checked his profile and he last logged in here on the 14th. Hopefully he will see this, or you could try sending him a private message.

And, welcome here!

It's not suggested that a stripe kit be'cleared over' First of all it's not necessay and second it may trap any light ends given off from the adhesive and vinyls. The vinyl then may become blotchy looking
